Ján Buzássy
Ján Buzássy (1935) is a poet and translator. He worked as editor-in-chief of Mladá tvorba until the magazine’s demise, then from 1971 he worked as an editor and later as editor-in-chief at the publishing house Slovenský spisovateľ, and from 1994 to 1995 he was the editor-in-chief of Kultúrny život. His literary debut was a collection of poetry Hra s nožmi, 1965 (Game with Knives). He has published more than two dozen collections of poetry, and in 2008 he won the Dominik Tatarka prize for Bystruška.
