Jonathan Gresty is a freelance teacher, translator, and novelist who has been living in Slovakia since 1992. He studied English Literature at university in his native UK, and over two decades later did a PhD in the Translation of Tourist Texts at the University of Prešov. In 2021 Ikar published his novel Cudzincov kabát, the sequel to which, Iné názory, will be coming out in August 2026. His translation of Tomáš Forró’s Song of Sirens will be available from Broadleaf Books in February 2027.
