Slovak Literature in English Translation

The short novel Ilona. My Life with the Bard paints a non-traditional portrait of one of Slovakia’s most important poets of the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav, narrated from the perspective of his little-known wife.
